Rheinhessen – Qualitätsweine b. A.

Rheinhessen QbA faces Nahe in the west and the Rhein River to the north and east. White wines are mostly made from Müller-Thurgau while red wines are made from Dornfelder, although the amount of vineyard growing Silvaner in Rheinhessen QbA is the largest in the world.  This region is surrounded by gentle hills and the soil consists of sand, limestone and sandstone. The region produces soft and delicate wines with round fruits and rich taste.
