Baden QbA is a narrow strip of land stretching from Heidelberg in the north to the Boden Lake in the south has the southernmost location with the highest average temperature among all the German wine regions. The soil consists of clay with sand, volcanic stones and limestone. This region produces very rich white wines and soft and round red wines. The Baden QbA Spätburgunder wines have gained a remarkably high international reputation in recent years and are exported to many overseas markets.
