This module is designed to complete the knowledge required for progression to a Level 1 Junior Sommelier. Through lectures, practical role plays and exercises, students develop service skills that prepare them for the highest level of service coupled with an advanced understanding of the theories behind food and wine pairing. They will also learn about other beverages that a sommelier is required to understand and develop their sales skills that will raise service levels in any establishment. The course closes with a validation exam for candidates on the final day.
