Duoro valley 5

White port is only a small proportion of what is produced in the Porto DOC and is often produced using the Malvasia grape variety that can be found across many of the warmer parts of southern Europe and in Madeira. All three of the key red varieties are found in South Africa and are also used to produce both fortified and still wines.
